Kathleen Hargreaves

Kath has worked at the Sutton in Ashfield office throughout her accountancy career, joining in 1971 before becoming Dave Brown's personal assistant and effective office manager in 1977.

Her responsibilities gave her a varied and wide experience of all aspects of accountancy including sage bookkeeping, payroll and vat preparation.

Specialising in small businesses, predominantly sole traders and partnerships, Kath is always available to resolve queries and deliver useful advice to those clients. And if Kath doesn't know the answer, she knows somebody that does, and will always endeavour to get back to you the same day.

Kath is local to Sutton and now lives within walking distance of the office, so there's no escape even on her day off! Her hobbies are reading, particularly Sci-fi and murder mysteries, and taking short breaks throughout the UK, usually involving a theatre visit. She also enjoys her Monday night salsa class which usually involves as much laughing as dancing.
