Ray Pritty

Ray, also known as Dad, is Hayley’s father and Scott’s father in law.

Ray joined us earlier this year to initially assist with our internal book-keeping, and now helps out with the analysis work required for preparing sets of accounts.

Ray is a vastly experienced machinist in the engineering trade, working mainly on parts for Rolls Royce & Pratt and Whitney, to be used in aircraft engines. Deteriorating health has led to Ray needing a less physically demanding job, and as we all sit behind our desks all day long we all agreed that accountancy would be ideal.

Ray is thoroughly enjoying this new lease of employment, and is soon to embark on the AAT qualification, which will see him being perhaps the oldest trainee in the country at 55 years of age.

By working part time on a flexible basis Ray and his wife, Rebecca, get to spend much more time at their static caravan than ever before, offering valuable relaxation time, at least until Hayley & Scott turn up with a car full of kids, bags and toys expecting a free holiday.
